About Atomic Fix Lab

Atomic Fix Lab turns small, persistent annoyances into practical objects. Each project begins with a real frustration—often from a home office—and follows it through sketching, prototyping, testing, and a satisfying final reveal.

How the Lab Works

People suggest the problems that interrupt their day. The most promising ideas become original mechanical designs, built and refined in public. When a fix proves useful, it can graduate into a small run of 3D-printed products or, where suitable, a printable file.

Why Small Batches

The lab tests demand before scaling. Limited first runs reduce waste, produce better feedback, and make it possible to improve a design before committing to broader production.

The First Experiment

The first concept is a one-hand charging dock made to stop a cable from falling behind the desk. It is a deliberately simple mission: remove one repeated irritation with a thoughtful, durable fix.
